Stories of Transformation: Men and Women Share How Their Lives Have Changed

Real change is possible. In communities across South Africa, men are choosing a different way to live – taking responsibility for their actions, rejecting violence, rebuilding relationships and learning to use their strength for good. In this video, participants in Father A Nation’s Champions for Change programme speak openly about who they were before the intervention and the changes they have made since. From overcoming anger and abusive behaviour to becoming better partners, fathers and role models, their stories show what can happen when men are given the tools, support and positive example they need to change. We also hear from women and community members who have witnessed that transformation firsthand. To change South Africa’s future, we must transform the lives of the men shaping it. Help us build a nation of good men and safer communities for all.
