REPORT:

Seshego Campus is situated just 20 minutes outside of Polokwane. Because of limited hall space and the number of students wanting to participate, students were divided into two groups and two separate workshops were held.

  • A total of just over 900 attended the two workshops showing a real hunger for this kind of intervention.
  • Campus student support shared a welcoming word before the commencement of the workshop, extending a warm word of thank you to the team for taking time to visit the campus.

  • Much of the conversation during the interactive session centred around the importance of a father figure in the life of a boy child and the great lack of positive role models in the community.

The reason why people don’t share with us that they are being abused, is some of them are benefitting from their partner financially.
